Personally I think Ronaldo is a better model for all the other players who are not born with the crazy talent that Messi is born with. In both tactics and training levels, he shows how "normal" players can train themselves to become a top-level footballer.

Yes. Also, football is not a single-person's game. It's about teamwork. Their teammates also greatly affect their achievement. Therefore I always think about defining who is better based on how many trophies they won also makes less senses.

So in my opinion, to say Messi and Ronaldo who is better mainly depends on your prefererence on whose style and personality. I think personality makes the biggest difference between them.

Yes, I do agree with you. It's based on people's preference, but from my perspective, there are also criteria for them to decide on who is better, such as playing style, consistency and longevity, individual awards and team success.

Personally, I know there is some gossip about Ronaldo's personal life, like he has lots of girlfriends, but Messi is always authentic to his wife, so from this point on, I stand by Messi more.

Sports players dedicated themselves's whole lives to practising and making contributions to their countries, their effort can't be measured by 'who is better', we should show respect to all of them

This comes back to my point that this comparison is based on people's preferences. Since you mentioned personal life, I will say I think Ronaldo always challenges himself in different leagues like La Liga, Seria A and Premier League. Messi for me is like he always stay in his comfort zone.

I agree with you. It's because of their "rivalry" in La Liga during their primes, so that we can enjoy that many amazing matches, especially those el classicos

I mean I never expected Portugal can win the World Cup. They are not as good as others, that's a fact. But also some penalties and fouls in 2022 World Cup seems unfair to me.

That's true. So the challenging feature that CR7 has makes me become his supporter. Me personally prefer people who are consistent, hard-working and always wanting to win and challenge himself. That's why I stand for CR7 among these two.
